This garment, known as the Kimono, is the official national costume of Japan. While it used to encompass all types of clothing, it now specifically refers to the full-length traditional robe worn by women, men, and children. Kimonos are characterized by their T-shaped, straight-lined shape that reaches the ankle, and includes collars and full-length sleeves. Expertly crafted in Japan, the design features a kanji character and comes with a sash belt that is sewn in the sleeve for a proper fit. It measures 23" from shoulder to shoulder, 48" from sleeve to sleeve, and is 56" in length and 59" in circumference. Made with 100% cotton sateen, this kimono is also machine washable.
